The Party

It all started with the preparations... How many slices of bread?

So today is the day...
Cake & sandwiches.

Tiger's Gone For 1st Service

With 825km on the clock, the in-board computer was telling me to put him into service.

And the interface is good. But I don't know if the schnapps coffee tastes good.

Ride Out With The New Tiger

3 in the afternoon and I'd 'ad enuf! Time to get off on the Tiger...
This time it was back and forth over the Jura hills and ended up at Passwang.

It was a 3½ hour ride - just right to test the seat and ergonomics of the handle bars.

Got back and checked the bike over - saw some small oil drops... It looked like it was a simple drop or two and the wind had sprayed/splashed it around a bit.
Will mention it to the guys when it goes for the first service in the next day or two.

Ride Out - Mother's Day

Well we wanted to go up to the Schluchsee and sail around, but everything was closed.
So we drove back to St.Blasien and had a coffee and lunch.

Collected New Tiger 800XC...... Grrrrrrrr!

I Collected my new Tiger this morning, a 'Tiger 800XC' [ABS]

I traded my old Tiger T400 - also a great bike, but just not up to todays standards (Fuel Injection, ABS, ECU emmision control...)

Morning Walk

It's nice and early and I can't sleep...
"Why?", you ask! Well I'll be collecting my new motorcycle later this morning.

So I decided to get up and go for a long walk along the Rhein...
It's blummin chilli! But nice and tranquil.

But that's not stopping me wanting a hot coffee!!!
