A Monumental View

Joe set a competition over at the Thunderbird forum titled:
A Monumental View

Task was to photograph your bike with a 'monumental view'...
Now it could be a monument. It could also be a spectacular view.
So these were some of my ideas...

Marius Is Mad!

Is it just me, or do other people have friends that are this crazy...

I believe Marius is getting VERY excited about making an adventure tour through Mongolia
on his new KTM adventure motorbike!!!

And now he's trying to pull me along with hiim ! ! !

Kelly's Birthday Get-together

What a great evening...
Maybe a beer or two too many! But, what a good evening!

But maybe the cake was to blame for the freaky window jump!?

Swiss-Moto 2012

An interesting expo this year! I took myself along on Thursday and bumped in Paul Goulding from Metal Mule Pannier cases.

I was very impressed with them and therefore I ordered a set...

So watch this space for more information in the coming future.

The Diavel was looking lovely.

Anna says it was the bike for her! While I tried the KTM Adventure.

Some lovely machinery there too.

And one or two ladies too, with more tattoo's than clothing!

Parking ticket came to SFr.24.--

The Aftermath...

Stef allowed him mum to finaly remove the covering plasters so that he could go for a shower.
And when she did, it was photo time!
So as you can see, two cuts were made to 'install' the titanium strut.

Ouch... Broken Collar Bone!

Yup.... something not right there.
Operation tomorrow.
Good luck!

Tiger Has His 10'000 km Service

And look there... to the right at the back!
My 'Bird engine!

The throttle cable had a knick in it, so an outer sleaves was added:

While this was done, I had myself a Haxen bratten....
Luvly it wor...

Then Denise came with a muster of the new paint style I'd like to have on the 'Bird:

Then Tigger got a new pair of slippers installed...

Really chuncky... ready for the Italian Alps this year!
