It's Too Hot For Mum

8 o'clock in the morning an 20 °C already...
That's definitely going to be too hot for mum later today!

Sunset & Cake

Lovely sunset over the moores...

You know what they say:
Red sky at night,
Shepherds delight.

So time for a cuppa and cake.

In t' Tarn f' Tea & Cake

It was time to see Tarn (Town) - Barnsley - and do a little shopping while mum went for her appointment.

It hasn't changed much. But I did notice there were fewer people.

Well after the obligatory Meal & Fish market visit and shirt buying in NEXT, we met back up with mum at the Victoria Tea Rooms.

Walk To The Wetlands

With wonderful 15 degrees sunshine, I suggested that my dad, Stefano and I walk to the Wetlands center while the ladies had a nail appointment.

We walked down Cat Hill which seams to always be flooded.



Then shortly before the center there is some lovely spray... Large too!





When we got there the ladies arrived shortly after.
So it was time to eat...

The Party

It all started with the preparations... How many slices of bread?

So today is the day...
Cake & sandwiches.

But I enjoyed my mug of Puffin tea.

A Visit To Dunster

Very medieval...

And an extremely thick sandwich shop.
