Raise The Dust - Day 1: Zurich to Spain, L'Escala

How did this start???

Well about a year ago - Joe, my good American friend gave me a link to a video of some guys on Triumph Scramblers that rode across the Pyrenees.

Here's that video:



Then a year later, Denis from Moto91 came to me and asked,
"Hey, Lee - you need to do this!
A tour with Scramblers across the Pyrenees!
I'm doing it - you should join me."

So that was it. That same tour in the video was now a guided event!

Three tour dates during the month of May.
We chose the last date hoping to have good weather...

Ždrepčeva krv Wine....?!

What a strange wine. Note very fruity, but still nice. 11% alcohol. it's from Serbia. This is what the tinterweb has to say about it: Appellation: Tisa region Type: Red Country: Serbia Varietals: Vranac, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay Notes: Ždrepčeva krv is one of the oldest wine brands in Serbia. It was made several decades ago and was one of the most popular wines in former Yugoslavia. This wine owns its unique taste to the original blend of specially selected red grape varieties (Vranac, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay, Muscat or Ottonel) cultivated in top quality black soil. It is interesting that long time before the creation of the brand, a wine made with a similar recipe was sold exclusively in pharmacies due to its healing properties. What distinguishes this wine from other wines in the market is that this is a semisweet Muscat wine. The color of Ždrepčeva krv is also characteristic, because it is ruby red and not deep red, so it resembles the color of stallion blood.
