Parents Visit & Locarno - Moon & Stars
Two lovely ladies...
So my parents have come over with their motorhome for their summer holidays.
We decided to travel sown to Locarno to see Laura Pausini in concert at the Locarno Moon & Stars festival.
We stayed at the Camping Piccolo Paradiso site. It's lovely!
We arrived on Friday evening. Stefano & I drove down through the Gotthard with my parents following, while Anna collected Sarah and came down by train.
We were also joined by Carlos (Alstom) & his girlfriend.
Saturday morning we all went to Cannobio in Italy for lunch and a walk around.
Saturday night was the concert, and we went down to Locarno by bus.
On the Sunday we drove back over the San Bernardino pass...
The Patrol struggled on this one! It's a very steep incline.
We went through the tunnel while I told my parents to go over the pass.
They did and both said it was a lovely road.
Over the following days we went out to visit several places, including Bad Säckingen and the longest sodden covered bridge in Europe.
Mmmmmm. .. Spare ribs!
