SMITHS Oil Pressure & Water Temperature Gauge

So here's the first stage of getting my SMITHS gauge fitted:

Taking photos of how/where I'd like it positioned!

From here a hand made mount will be made to hold it in position.

Then comes the hard part! How to install the sensors and oil pipe line!

But I have confidence in Moto91...

Tinker - A Real TIGER ! ! !

Tinker wanting to play...

But it's always hard to catch her with the camera - as soon as she knows you're wanting to take a picture - she stops!

Tigers Are Free

So Moto91 are releasing their first batch of Tigers!

They received five white Tigers late last week;
- three 800's
- two 800XC's.

Here's both an 800 and 800XC prept. and ready for their owners to collect them!
They were even delievered with  the owners name on the screen!
Here's the 'Sump Guard' accessory  and ...
... the 'Fog Lamps' accessories.

They do look nice!
I'm happy I've ordered them too :-)
Here's the 'Touring Gel Seat' accessory.
It is NOT the 'Lower Seat' which I have ordered, but it does look very similar with that grey stripping in it.
The remaining three Tigers awaiting their owner-preparation service!
You can see that the front screen has not yet been fitted - that's how they are delivered.
Oooh and what's this...?
A black Tiger 800!
But this one has the silver frame!

So the black ones are arriving too!

Twin test: Lotus Evora vs Porsche 911 - BBC Top Gear

Twin test: Lotus Evora vs Porsche 911 - BBC Top Gear
Wow! Wow! WOW!

Yes!
I would prefer the Lotus over a Porsche. Simply because it's all about 'The Driving Experience' and Porsche do their very, very best to 'dampen' those driving feelings away!

You need to feel it!

Sundays Trip To Landquart's Outlet Village

Well - what better way to waste time than travel for 2 hours to go Sunday Shopping ! ! !

And how much did the shopping person save?

About half the price of the train ticket!!!

Interesting chairs they have!?!?

What a WASTE of a day!

Well it's not a total waste I suppose. Fact is, I did learn some things:

1) NEVER to do this thing again
2) Landquart is a dump
3) Listen to your inner instinct!

STORM Covers Installed

Oh YES! Yes! Yes!

So while driving home today I decided that I couldn't wait for Moto91 do to the STORM cover installations - so I went around to collect them and installed them myself.

Before... Both Belt and Alternator covers are chrome.

After... Black power coated covers!
Much better in my opinion - a bit like my old Speedmaster.

So here's some pictures of the process:

Endomondo Walking Workout

Todays walk

Well after that meal it was time to get out and walk about.

It was lovely and warm today.

The GPS thingmigig tells me that I was out for 9.28 km in 1h:34m!

So which way would you go?

Me - I'd go Left - direction Basel.

Why you may ask. Because it goes North - and direction North is England!
Plus Zürich is just too stinky and not my mug of Tetley!

Now that is one BIG rooster!
I don't think I'd manage a grilled breast from a chicken that size!!!

They say that this here rooster causes accidents on the A3 motorway as the drivers turn to look at it!
Mmmm... I've NEVER heard of an accident here - but the radio said there is!

So from one side of the motorway to the other. It's rather loud when you are walking along these paths.
At one point there was a gap in the traffic and the absence of the noise seemed to make my ears hurt!!! Strange isn't it.

It made me think how it might have been some 1'000 years ago.

Much better I think - a little more nature and a lot less industrial noise!

Well once over onto the 'airport' side of the motorway I can get off into a little stretch of some woods.
It's only a few hundred meters or so, but it's nice to see how things change over time. Just a couple of weeks back there was NO green vegetation on the ground - now look at it!

Here's some images I then took with the Vignette application on my phone. I set it so that the 'natural' colours are more vivid. I believe it looks more special.

Endomondo Walking Workout

So - the GPS didn't start till I was already 1 km into my walk! Anyway, by my calculations I was out walking 4.5 km in 37 minutes.

Todays Lunch

Green, green, green and more green!
No- hang-on, wait a moment!
....What's that?

Mmm... 3 pieces of meat!

Well - a little walk will still be in order after this, but not as much as yesterday.

Oh well, hopefully I won't be getting too fat with this green stuff! Especially with today being fitness day at The SPA.
