Bruno Collects His Explorer
The first to be out on an Explorer...
So we had a little ride out to the Schiff in Ellikon, where Kelly then joined us.

Swiss Military Map Case
Bought a Swiss military map case from Ducks Army Shop in Dulliken, for the 'Around The World Relay' over in the Thunderbird1600.com forum.
It'll be used to hold the Thunderbird1600 plaque and a log-book as they travel together around the world.
Here's the plaque:
And here was its first hand over (relay):
I wonder how long it will be until it arrives in Switzerland?

Poker Night @ The Bockelmann's
Dressed in style.
Ready for a fight.
This was our first poker night...
We felt good. We felt confident.
I had my lucky dice with me (and the possible odd one or two special cards tucked away...)
But then the drinks came out!
White...
Then red...
My plans were going down the drain!
I needed help from a 'how to play poker' print-out.
Then the confidence came back, and the night turned into the early hours of the morning.
Anna went all in and ended up all out!
So she found refuge on the sofa bed, wrapped up, snug and warm...
As for me - I went on to win!
(I think...)
A BRILLIANT evening - that cost me the whole of Sunday!

Grill At Alstom
Let's get one thing perfectly clear from the start:
My camera does not look like that!
My camera looks like a mobile telephone.
But that's not what this entry is about.
No.
It's about a leaving party grill, organized by the guys at the test center.
All set in the wonderful surroundings of the GT26 machine!

Anna's Trying To Poison Me!
Anna: "Lee, would you like to have sardellen for tea?"
Lee: "Mmmm. That would be nice."
*table is laid out with bread, cheese and sardellen*
Lee: "....? These fish taste strange!"
Anna: "It's the oil. They're OK. It says, 12th March...."
Twothousandandbloodynine!
I feel sick....

Europe's Longest Covered Wooden Bridge
Now I didn't know that!
The covered wooden bridge between Bad Säckingen (D) and Stein (CH) is the longest in Europe!
I've only lived in the area now for over 16 years... why should I know..?
:-)
The old road leading down from Stein.
The 'Middle': That side of the white line is Germany. This side Switzerland.
Entering Germany...
Then we ~ the Bucefari's, Anna & I, walked around the old town:
Then it was time for a coffee and cake...
Cat and Skeleton!
Monsters!
Brilliant number Pointed House!
Silly Objects!
Weird Objects - from horror movies!
Silly Brunnen!
Band Stand!
Trumpet Players & Towers!
A nice afternoon.... especially the cake ;-)
Will be visiting this little town again, I'm sure.
